Dear Mr. President,<br>My name is Ash and I'm a guy. That sounds like a strange way to start a letter because you're not here so you can't hear me voice, which is a low alto on a good day. But I'm used to explaining myself. I don't mind that, but I'm not often allowed to. My driver's license has an F on it. My passport has an F on it. And I can't change that without surgery I can't afford. I can't even change my female name because I'm already unsafe in airports and police stations. I know there's only so much you can do.
