Dear President, I would like to know why the system has failed us, why the government has failed us? Do you have to go to war in our own communities in order to get some attention for low income housing and other help for poor people. Mr. President, I would like to know what is the White House and HUD planning to do to save the Section 8 program? In the city of L.a. alone, there are 10s of thousands of homeless families, as well as single individuals that sleep on the streets of Los Angeles nightls.As you know, without the Section 8 program, you can multiply any number of hundreds by hundreds and up with a number that is not close to the actual number of people that this will effect.<BR>(cont.)
