Dear President,<BR>My thing is - why is the state allowing the police to write homeless people tickets for sleeping on the streets when the only place for them to sleep is on the streets? All I want is for you to encourage not only this state but all states to have more resources for homeless people. If the police are going to write people tickets for sleeping on the ground they should give them some resources because if they don't have anything, they don't have no choice but to sleep on the ground. The reason I'm saying this is because a homeless person has no income so he can't pay a ticket - so he's going to go to jail.<BR>Sincerely,<BR>Patrick, from Houston
