Description

This short audio description of the painting, “Riding Blind,” begins with a narration of the literal elements of the painting. Lauren Hutcherson, the narrator, works from the background to the foreground with most of the description focusing on the details of the rider who is the subject of the painting. The second half of the audio clip is dedicated to the interpretative portion of Hutcherson's description. The emotions of the rider and the layers of detailing are important parts of the painting’s interpretation.
