Title

Reports from Wake and Warren Counties

Subject

Schoolhouses

Description

These two documents come from reports written by the presidents of Warren County and Wake County associations. Of note is that both documents mention that "colored" schoolhouses had been positively impacted by the Women's Association for the Betterment of Public Schoolhouses. In Wake County, "50% of white and some colored" schools had been affected by the work of the association. In Warren County, the president reported that "six white [schools] and one colored" had received libraries. Neither of these documents are dated.
