Description
Dear America,
My family and I left Iran in 1979, because we were being persecuted. We were lucky to be able to emigra te to America where my parents could make a better life for us. To me, that is what America stands for: liberty and freedom, no matter what your color or religion is.
Yes, it is important to protect this country, but it should remain a safe haven for people who are being persecuted, to come here and have a peaceful life. I wish there was a mix of everyone.: Trump and Bernie and Cruz and Hillary. Keep the terrorist out, yes, but let refugees come in and have a peaceful life.
We need to fight ISIS. Christians and Jews and Muslims are persected. Give Syrian, Iraqi - all refugees a chance, and keep the US safe.
