Dear Mr. President,<br>For the past 57 years, the U.S. has in one way or another backed Israel at the expense of Palestinian rights, human, civil andnational. Ifwe are to live up to our standards of freedom, liberty and justice for all, then we must immediately end our aid to Israel to attain peace in that region. Further wars and conquests of Middle Eastern nations in order to access their oil and dominat their region will not work and neither will one-sided support of Isarel. As an American Jew and a citizen of the U.S. and as a human being, I beg you to end the violence and support peace.<br>Brian Henry<br>San Francisco, Calif. (in NY)
