Segment Synopsis: Jones was born, educated, worked, retired, and lived in Detroit, Michigan and she has always been in the reserves as a Marine. She shares early childhood, family life, and education.

Segment Synopsis: She worked as waitress on a boat on the Great Lakes, in order to do that you had be in the Coast Guard. Jones shares her family and friends reactions to her being in the Coast Guard.

Segment Synopsis: The acceptance of women has become more common, although there are still some old guard hardliners. She also went through quite a few uniform changes.

Segment Synopsis: She does not see herself as either a pioneer or trailblazer because she believes when in the 40s were.
