Segment Synopsis: Foote had supervisory experience and a college degree so she was able to be appointed a 1st Lieutenant and commissioned in 1959 but was not in active duty until 1960. Her did not want her to go away in the military.

Segment Synopsis: She was commissioned to find out how bad sexual harassment was in the Army, they developed protocols to conduct research. The Army did not handle sexual harassment well, and people were not comfortable coming forward when they were harassed, assaulted, or raped.
