Hannah and LaToya began working together early fall, 2019. Though the artist, Hannah, knew that the process would be challenging, she was always excited to throw herself and her work into the project. Hannah put her artistic process and work on this project constantly first as she worked to be pushed by the opportunity to work with LaToya and Industries of the Blind. Hannah's own father became disabled prior to this project and she states that this helped her own understanding. From her meetings with LaToya, Hannah continually felt a sense of warmth from the community at Industries of the Blind. From this warmth, Hannah kept conjuring bold earth tones in her work. Hannah took the great opportunity Industries of the Blind have created for LaToya and others with visual impairments and developed this into a window motif in her painting. Hannah felt personally impacted by LaToya through this process.
