Madisson Yarnell (00:01):
LaToya McEachean has been an employee at Industries of the Blind for about three years, sewing textiles. She lost her sight three days before her 27th birthday due to her sickle cell trait, high blood pressure and diabetes is now totally blind in her right eye and only has peripheral vision in her left. She received help from a community center in High Point until she accidentally called Industries of the Blind. She states the finding this job gave her a reason not to give up. Her kids and her boyfriend helped her when she needs it, but she likes the opportunity to be able to still do things for herself.
