Black Lives Matter Protest Rock

In the wake of the murder of George Floyd at the hands of the police on May 25, 2020, a series of protests against police brutality on Black Americans began across the country. While Floyd’s death represented a tipping point, it was just one of many instances of racist violence against Black people. The killings of Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and others also fueled activism, and demonstrations remain ongoing.
